Dear Colleagues:
Congratulations go out to ODGer Luke Rostill on the publication of
Possession, Relative Title, and Ownership in English Law with OUP.
The book provides a sustained analysis of foundational principles of English private law and their application by the courts, examining areas such as possession, ownership, and torts to property, and looking at
goods as well as land. An order form is attached to this email which offers a 30% discount.
A book launch hosted by Oxford will take place on Microsoft Teams from 5pm to 6.15pm (GMT) on Monday 22 March 2021.
To receive the Teams invitation, you will need to register for the event. This can be done by emailing zachariah.pullar@law.ox.ac.uk.
Three commentators will each discuss the book's arguments in relation to a specific context: Prof Birke Häcker (Oxford) will look at personal property; Prof Henry Smith (Harvard) at property generally; and Upper Tribunal Judge
Elizabeth Cooke (Visiting Professor, Oxford) at land law. The event will be chaired by Prof Ben McFarlane (Oxford) and there will of course be time for questions from the audience.
Sincerely,
Jason Neyers
